Code Block Setup Help

I’ve been playing with this plugin and am thinking it could really help me but I’m having an issue trying to see how it works.
Just for an example, I tried to implement these jquery tabs:

I created a code block “Basic Tabs” and placed the contents of basicTabs.js into it. The code I placed in this block is here:
https://kobra.io/#/e/-JugGxzeAaPWg3qsmrMfI then created another block and placed the script and css from the codeTabs example html file as shown here:
https://kobra.io/#/e/-JugHr-95-Y9GjiVkfm2Both of these code snippets I made sure were checked on the correct page where I wanted them.
Finally I went to the wordpress page I wanted to tabs to show and placed my html code as shown here:
https://kobra.io/#/e/-JugIC1bYDIT4NpBhU-MWhen I publish and go to the page where I placed the code, the css formatting looks right but the tabs don’t work.
If you could help me figure out what I’m doing wrong, this should set me on the right path to understanding this plugin.
