Hello Trinity7,
Does the subscription email works when the Jetpack shortcode is placed normally on a page? Also can you please confirm if you testing with different emails.
I would appreciate if you could share the URL of the page where I can test the pop-up created using our plugin with JetPack shortcode.
Thanks for the speedy reply, Harish, and my compliments on a handsome plugin. Yes, the shortcode works perfectly when in a widget, or embedded in a page, and even in other plugins that allow pasting shortcode in their container. Also, Statcounter accurately records the “success” if the subscription and reports that in my statistics. SO I am puzzled as to why I do not receive a confirmation email when I test using my own email.
update – no, the jetpack module is not sending confirmation letters to any email address I try, even from a dedicated subscription page. So I suspect jpack has an issue with a plugin. to save your time, let me check my plugins before you do anything.
I am beginning to think that Jetpack is the problem. I deleted the plugin and went to reinstall it but noticed that Jetpack is INCOMPATIBLE with 4.2.1. Hello WORDPRESS. Your own jetpack product, which you promote continually is NOT COMPATIBLE with the freshest versions of WP???
What do you recommend, Harish? I loved the simplicity of jpack, but the WP group is exhibiting some serious flaws these days.
Hello Trinity7,
I use JetPack with WP 4.2.2. It’s a big and free plugin so issues will always exist. Sometimes issues are from server side sometimes for different reasons. I would recommend contacting their support and provide enough details so they can assist you.
