Hi Mike,

So I need to implement a custom filter for date field (which I already created using WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin). This is to be implemented on Listify theme (may not be relevant info).
I have found your tutorial on adding custom filter for salary (https://wpjobmanager.com/document/tutorial-adding-a-salary-field-for-jobs/) and though I understand your explanation and I have even implemented your example as a test, I cannot fully wrap my head around how to implement same code but for date data type (I am a programmer but mostly work on Java and .NET so PHP is a slow hill climb for me). If you could just point a way forward for me I’ll hit the ground running and perhaps stop interrupting your busy schedule. Thanks a bunch!

Hi,

You can use the code on the example you found od the plugin website but with different query arguments, you’ll most probably want something like this:
```
$query_args = array(
	'date_query' => array(
		array(
			'after'     => 'January 1st, 2013',
			'before'    => array(
				'year'  => 2013,
				'month' => 2,
				'day'   => 28,
			),
			'inclusive' => true,
		),
	),
);
```
