Please try following suggestions:
Change PHP version to PHP 5.5. You will need to contact your Web Hosting provider for it.
Make sure you have 755 permission to wp-content/uploads.
Try to increase memory from wp-config.php
Try to increase upload size.

This solution seems a bit excessive? I’ve never had issues before uploading images, it seems to be a recent error (with the last few days)
Are you sure it doesn’t have something to do with the Flash Player plug in system? I’m reading elsewhere this is a possibility. Any ideas on that being the main issue?
To be quite honest, I’m trying to exhaust all other options so I don’t have to contact Godaddy.
