speed not improved

Hi,
I just installed and activated the plugin. I went through the setup process
and have the followed all checked:
cached
new post
minify html
minify css
combine css
combine js
gzip (this is also installed at my cpanel on webhost)

I have run a speedtest again and it has slowed pageload speeds by 1pt.
