I can’t answer your question, but this should be made the default behaviour.
For single bloggers, the net effect would be identical.
Anyone ever figured out how to do this?
Notify on Comment was updated by the author and now works for 2.5.1!!

I’m an administrator of a blog with multiple users who post. I don’t want to be notified about comments, just the author of the post. How can I achieve this?
