Double Header?

Is it possible to do two separate headers in CSS? For example on my blog http://caffeinatedandcreative.com I have the main title and some graphics that I want centered. The banner above is supposed to be extending the width of a screen and obviously is not. I tried a different code but it moved everything, the tables, other images, etc. Also when my husband viewed it on his much larger screen it wasn’t extending the full width anymore. How do I get the banner to extend the full width of a screen no matter the size but, keep the title area the same and centered? Thank you!
