• Does anyone know what I can do? My site is http://www.financialbasis.com

Every time I try to go to http://www.financialbasis.com/wp-admin, I get an error saying that page can’t be found. Originally I thought that this was a plugins problem. As I was deleting/deactivating plugins. However I could not solve the problem even as I deactivated all of my plugins by changing the name of the plugins folder in cpanel? What else can I do?

Although I’m thinking it has something to do with my security plugin. I edited the settings on one of my security plugins and now it has some stuff that is included in my .htaccess file.

Should I try removing it? I believe that it is this part:

    # BEGIN iThemes Security – Do not modify or remove this line
    # iThemes Security Config Details: 2
    # Enable the hide backend feature – Security > Settings > Hide Login Area > Hide Backend
    RewriteRule ^(/)?wplogin/?$ /wp-login.php [QSA,L]

I tried deleting the whole ithemes security section, with plugins deactivated. Still does not work.

Oh never mind. Problem solved. Stupid plugin changed my dashboard so that it became a different one. Ideally it should have worked for all 4 urls that I had listed, but apparently only 1 of the 4 urls worked. Stupid plugin.

    Hi,

As of now, I am receiving following error on WordPress dashboard.

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home2/ptc12/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home2/ptc12/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php:23) in /home2/ptc12/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1196

To fix this, you can rename the w3-total-cache/ folder in the plugins directory.

Go back to the wp-content folder and rename following files:

    advanced-cache.php
    db.php
    object-cache.php.

Have a try to login again.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
