• Once in a while my website won’t load and instead I get this:
    500 Internal Server Error. The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

    It’s only been doing this for the past three days or so, a while after I upgraded to 2.3. I’m not sure what it could be, but maybe it has something to do with this which shows up when I try to pick a category:

    WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘link_count’ in ‘where clause’]
    SELECT cat_ID FROM wp_categories WHERE category_parent = 0 AND ( link_count = 0 OR category_count != 0 OR ( link_count = 0 AND category_count = 0 ) ) ORDER BY category_count DESC

    Could that be what’s causing the error? Or something else maybe?

    My site is http://myspace-crash-codes.com/ and it uses Yahoo! web hosting.

  • I got this before the upgrade to 2.3.

    In my situaiton, my web host said it was at their server.

    I just click on ‘reload’ on my browser and it works after that. Until next time.

    This happens on my 2.3, and 2.2.3 wp blogs.
