I broke footer.php!
-
Hi there, I have a huge problem. I was looking at removing the branding on the footer of my website and edited the footer.php but decided that it would be better to support Tyler, and would be easier for me just to get the plugin, which I did.
My own stupidity in editing a little piece of the footer seems to now throw up an error at the bottom of my page when I use the plugin. Please help me by advising me what to paste into this area to revert it back to the way it was.
The error is: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘;’ in /home1/ricardo/public_html/wp-content/themes/Tesseract/footer.php on line 69
The footer PHP looks like this:
<div id=”designer”>
<?php printf( __( ‘Copyright – 2015 School Of Independence’ ); ?>
</div></div>
I have made a stupid mistake please help me because I have taken a while to get the site to where it is.
Yours in desperation,
Ricardo.
