It is Permalink issue. Most probably if you just go to Settings > Permalinks and save it again, it will flush the old settings and will resolve this.
Give it a try.
BTW, you posted in wrong forums. It is JSON API plugin issue. (but in fact it is Permalink cache flushing issue.)

lol, ya ive done that several times already thats why i came here, and all my other plugins and the rest of the site work fine just the api having problems.

Also my .htaccess file isn’t writable by the server so i have to add them myself. Is there any special ones for json api?
are your other WordPress permalinks working fine? If no, then it is not JSON API Plugin issue.
Also, make your .htaccess writable and then try re-activating plugin.

ya my other plugins no problem, i can’t make make my .htaccess writable because technically the rewrites come from a config file that i can’t make writable by the server..
What’s your PHP version? if it is 5.3 or greater then fine.
You should try the plugin with another WordPress install on server. Just install WordPress and this plugin and check.
