I’m loving the “Sketch” theme I used for my weblsite. I used the built-in password protection for a page I set up and entered a password, hit OK and Update, then logged out as admin and took a look at the page. The first time I viewed the page it required a password, the second time it says: “Protected” but does not require a password. I’ve tried deleting and reseting numerous times. Sometimes it doesn’t even say Protected and makes the test content available.

Here’s the short link to the page: http://wp.me/PmAH5-F6

    Any help is appreciated!

  • Your browser will remember if you’ve recently visited a password-protected post and not ask you for the password again in the near future. To test this, try visiting the same page in a new browser or in an incognito/private browsing window. You should be prompted to enter a password.

Password-protection is a WordPress-wide feature and not something theme specific.

My pleasure! And yes, it is a pretty awesome job. 😉
