Newsletter not sent
-
I have setup 2 Newsletters – one sends the blog update notifications and runs scheduled (this one works just fine) and a second one to send out a bonus when someone subscribes. This one does not work at all.
Any ideas how to fix?
Thanks,
Sabine

Hello,
I have a similar problem, all automatic newsletter don’t work with new contents (articles, events, etc..).I think it’s a bug.
let me knowregards
Hi,
We do not currently know of any bugs with the automatic newsletter.
Can you try this video guide to make sure that you are set up correctly?
https://support.mailpoet.com/knowledgebase/video-guide-autoresponders/
Also, can you delete and re-add the automatic-content latest widget to your newsletter?
Thanks!
Hi,
I just tried to delete e recreate new automatic newsletter but it doesn’t work yet.I followed video guide, but I set automatic newsletter where there is new content (a nre post, event or page).
Automatic mail create itsself but it isn’t not sent.
Hi,
After you created the new newsletter, did you also create a new blog post that sent out?
Also, are you using custom post types, like events? These won’t work in the automatic newsletter.
After re-creating the newsletter, it works. Hope this is a one time bug.
Thank you.
Hi,

Bye
Hi,
Unfortunately the newsletter will not work with custom post types. Can you send us a screenshot of your automatic newsletter settings?
Thanks!

Maybe there is a conflict with some other plugin? when I created a new blog post, the newsletter preview is ok but the mail doesn’t go.
(sorry for my bad english, I’m italian 🙂 )Let me know
thanksFor your information, when I add a new user, automatic welcome newsletter to the user works fine..

Hi,
It sounds like you might have a cron issue, as your newsletter appears to be set up correctly.
Can you follow this guide to set up a cron job?
https://support.mailpoet.com/knowledgebase/configure-cron-job/Thanks!
I can’t set a cron job on my server because is a sharing host..
I set activate mail with visitors.. but other automatic mails, like when there is a new user, works fine…I activated debug log, after create a new blog post there is this log:

Hi stefacchio, looks like your problem is not related to the Cron then.
Yes, it could be a conflict with another plugin. Some plugins hook on the same hook MailPoet uses to send the Post Notification newsletters. These are triggered when you hit publish button on your new post screen. Try disabling all your other plugins and create a new post to test.
Hi,
I tried to deactivate all plugins also jetpack where there is the facebook and twitter sharing posts but the problem is the same..Let me know if you have other solutions..
many thanksIf you have several post notifications setup with the Automatic Latest Content widget AND Jetpack publishing to facebook and twitter, that might cause your PHP process to time out during the publishing of your new post, resulting in the newsletter to not be sent.
How many active post notification newsletters you have?
