Theme Editor Not Recording Changes

    Look at the top. Does it say Editing sidebar.php or Browsing sidebar.php? If it says Browsing, you cannot edit it using the theme editor just yet. You need to set the file permissions first. Or edit it in your favorite website editor and upload the changes via ftp.

    It says “editing sidebar.” Yeah I could FTP, but that’s so much more trouble to change stuff on the fly (in my particular situation as a satellite blog part of a bigger site).

    I’m pretty sure I was able to do it before, so I’m not sure what happened.
