Results are not displayed

Hi, I have just installed ajax-search-lite, and it worked great at the beginning, but suddenly it stopped working and I am trying to figure out why. Unfortunately I cannot add a link, because the site is still under dev, but here are some clues: 🙂
1. Most important: when I look on the console, the ajax script does in fact return the results, but for some reason they are not displayed up front.
2. I have set up the plugin to display custom post types, custom fields etc.. (at that stage it still worked 🙂 )
3. I have messed up with css, and this is probably the main issue, however, I have reverted all my changes (I have only messed up with the theme style sheet), and it didn’t fix. Looking on firebug I can’s see any (hidden by mistake?) div containing the results.
So I know that’s not much to work with, but maybe you could advise what else I can check: which is the div ID where the result should display, what else may cause this on the backoffice, is there a way to reset the plugin to its defaults etc..
