Serious translation problems

    Hi all!
    I’m using timely ai1ec on. I’ve tested it in my site and all was ok. I have wordpress with IT lang and timely ai1ec witn original lang (EN).
    After many month, I’ve installed the italian lang pack to translate the ai1ec plugin but it cause many problems. So, I remove the pack and manually translate the .po file.
    I use PoEdit to translate form EN to IT: I check the calendar and the translation works right …I think: “good work!”.
    I check again, I try to use the calendar and find a new problem: if I click on event, the link doesn’t works! Ai1ec doesn’t load the events! Ai1ec try to load event but doesn’t find it and send the 404 error: page not found. Strange.. why?!
    So, I remove the it_IT.po and it_IT.mo files and the plugin works right!
    I use PoEdit from many time and it works right, so why this errors?
    I can’t explain where is the problem.

    Hi!
    I’ve installed the lang pack many time ago. I don’t remember well…view problems. Like plugin have not css files.
    Now I’ve version 2.2.1 of ai1ec.
    Did you use it with Italina lang?

    Hi,

    It should work, please follow this guide: http://time.ly/document/user-guide/customize-calendar/translations/

    If there is a css problem, try this:
    1. Go to Dashboard -> Events -> Calendar Theme and activate a different calendar theme. Then return to your original calendar theme and activate it.
    2. Dashboard -> Events -> Theme Options and hit Save Options.

    Hi!
    I’ve followed these steps some time ago …and retry now.
    Now it’s ok about apparence.
    Now I’ve the problem with links…If I click on event in frontend calendar view, the system send me 404 error: page not found.
    If I delete it_IT.po and it_IT.mo files…the calendar works right.
    It’s very strange.
    I have the same problem using PoEdit software. When I finish my translation and reload the page…WP tell me: page non found!

    So…
    Now I tring to translate 20 words with PoEdit. I load original .po and .mo files and translate they.
    So I making new it_IT.po and it_IT.mo files.
    I’ll test it changing only 20 words. Only 20.

    I’ve make this test.
    If I load the lang pack it_IT, we have this problem:
    when I click on event in forntend calendar view, ai1ec don’t load the event and send 404 error.
    If I delete the lang pack it_IT, the calendar works again.
    So…
    I’ve translated 20 words with PoEdit and I’ve loaded the new it_IT.po and it_IT.mo files on my server: the calendar works!

    I’ve translated the most important words and not all. I think there is a problem in some italian words but I don’t know these words.
    However I can’t use lang pack it_IT
