I want to use wordpress as a cms for a small webpage. There should be a page where different groups introduce themselves, when they meet, who is the person in charge and so on.
There are 6-8 groups and I would like to display all of them on one page. On top of the page I would like to have some anchor-links to jump to the sections/groups that are below. Each Section (group) should have an horizontal header image (as a seperator).
I don’t want to write everything (about the group) on one page but rather have different posts (with each posts featured image for the header) that are displayed on this one page. I thought about using a special page template that I would have to do myself, but right now I don’t know how to start all of this.
Maybe someone already did something similar, knows a tutorial or a plugin that does just what I want. Maybe there is a better way than what I thought by myself – I’m open for everything to achieve this: 1 Page with different content areas that can be filled from separate text input-areas in the backend.
