Widgets Unable to Drag

    I cannot Drop and Drag widget past a certain area on the widget admin screen. I know a lot of people have had this problem since upgrading to WordPress 4.2.2. Can some help me fix this. I found a thread with a patch but don’t know how to apply it.

    I having been having this issue for weeks and today the Widget below Header is not showing at all. So frustrating.

    Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, with all plugins still deactivated also try switching to the Twenty Fourteen/ Fifteen theme to explore whether it’s related to your theme.

    deactivating plug-ins didn’t work and my theme has not been changed but opened it in twenty fifteen and the widgets still had issues.
