    I need a gallery that can be launched from a text link such as ‘Click here to view the gallery’ – it should then open as a lightbox style gallery with the thumbnails also showing in the popup as well as the main image.

    Is this possible with Nextgen? If so which version do I need?

    @webfactoryuk – We do not have a specific method to provide a text link that will open the Lightbox Effect per se.

    You may be able to leverage a shortcode like this: [ngg_images gallery_ids=1 display_type=photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails disable_pagination=1 images_per_page=1 show_all_in_lightbox=1]
