Post does Not appear after publishing

    I have been editing pages today and publishing new photos and text without any issues.

    I edited in Posts today and added a photo, a line of text and a url hyperlink.

    I publish the post, refresh the screen so as to refresh the cache, and the image and text still do not appear.

    I contact Host Gator tech support, and they did not have a solution.

    Anyone else having this problem, would appreciate a solution.

    and

    POSTS was used to edit the home page.

    The collodial gold photo (bottom right in products page) is the same photo I added to POSTS, (with text) that I can not get to show up after choosing publish, and refreshing the cache.

    Help would be most appreciated. Thanks WP community!

    Are you using any sort of caching plugin, or do you see a “Clear/Purge Cache” button in your Dashboard or admin bar? If so, would you please try clearing the cache?

    Note: You do not need to install a caching plugin at this point just to clear a cache you don’t have. If you don’t have a caching plugin or a way to clear a server-level cache, just say so. 🙂

    James, this issue of not seeing the post after publishing is not cache related, as people on other computers see the same effect.

    I can post all kinds of new images and text when I use pages in WP, but as soon as I use Posts WP does not let me update the post. Weird thing is WP allows me to update pages and not posts.

    Would appreciate continued suggestions.

    James, this issue of not seeing the post after publishing is not cache related, as people on other computers see the same effect.

    No, not browser cache. A caching plugin on your blog or server, which would of course affect everyone seeing your blog.

    So, I return to my original questions, are you using any sort of caching plugin (not browser cache), or do you see a “Clear/Purge Cache” button in your Dashboard or admin bar (not browser cache)? If so, would you please try clearing the cache (not browser cache)?

    James can you suggest someone who can help troubleshoot this problem FOR A FEE, by logging into our WP site and making changes and viewing code directly? If yes a contact name would be awesome. Thanks Alan
