Hi there, that would be the menu in Appearance -> Menu (that would be the main menu and the phone number may be in a widget, also in appearance, but the below menu you can find “Widgets”
Let me know how it went.
Thanx
Hi F.P. and thanks.
I follow your directions … Appearance –> Menus and see the “Menu Name” as mine, but no adjustments.
I follow your directions … Appearance –> Widgets.
In the widgets section it tells me “Available Widgets” and “Widget areas” i.e. Primary, Homepage, First Footer Second Footer and so on.
Primary Widget area tells me “Recent Posts” (I’m not sure if that should be there.
Homepage widget has nothing in the box.
First Footer widget has Contact Us, with some details in it.
Second footer had widget with the details that are from the bottom of the page.
Is there 2 issues here.
1. The widgets are out of order ?
2. Don’t see where to find setting to make changes necessary for the text I wish to alter ?
Thanks in advance
What theme are you using? Do you know?
Well, as Tara suggested in another forum topic.
– The theme you referred to (“Elegance”) is not in the WordPress official theme directory:
https://wordpress.org/themes/search/elegance/ is indeed in a Premium Theme Directory
– For questions regarding this theme, please contact its developers. You’ll be more likely to find a good answer from them, for they have the access to its code. Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme is not working properly. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product. These forums are for free themes available in the WordPress theme directory at wordpress.org/themes/. Thanks again
Had about 5 days practice with this. Now the home page seems to be lost, keep getting the blog page when I click the home button.
I’ll have to sort this out first, then I’ll have a look at the other stuff.
Not sure about whether the questions are too stupid, so reluctant to keep asking. If not we’ll keep going, if thats ok
Thanks for your help so far.
Found the problem.
The –> Elegance menu –> Home page was set to have the Blog on it and not the home page. You changed my thinking which helped solve the problem
Solved that one, thanks
Just to finish off, apparently the product comes with its own help resources. Found them, all is now OK with this problem. Thank you.
