Newbie disappointed…

I installed WordPress and everything else with the help of my girlfriend who is an avid WordPress user. I was sorely disappointed. The entire structure of WordPress, for me, was too confusing. All I want from a blogging software is ease of use. Let’s say that I found a cool video or webpage that I would like to add to my blogg. Now I have to go through too many steps just to add it to my blogg. Right now I’m using scribefire for Firefox that does what I want in just a few clicks. I hoped for the same level of user-friendliness from WordPress, but I perhaps asked to much (or too little) from your software. I do like the level of customization that you can get with WordPress, meaning how you have control of the layout of your blog. But I’ve reached the conclusion that I just don’t get the matter of ease that I get from other blogging-software.
Enough of my ramblings. I guess it’s just not aimed at me, the casual blogger. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.
