A problem with WP-PostRatings

Hello!
I have a problem with plugin WP-PostRatings.
The owner said that “Your theme CSS is forcing all the images to go to the next line within the post content” here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/the-stars-are-vertical-not-horizontal?replies=2#post-7065663
What should I do? I use 1.0.8 version and can’t update it because forget create a child theme (there are a lot of changes).
