entering a hyperlink into an ad using html

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

You can enable HTML in the description field if you like, although we don’t recommend it because it allows people to put whatever scripts they want in there (possibly malicious!). But if you are entering ads, it’s not so dangerous.

That setting is under Classifieds->Settings, Ad/Listing tab. “Allow HTML in ads?”
