Installed plugins not visible in Dashboard wp-admin

I developed a church website on my PC, and the upload went OK. Most features working, except abnormal display of plugins. The Plugins link on the left shows some older plugins used by the previous developer. Although none of the ones included in my localhost build are listed, their functionality is there. For example, if I go to Settings, I have full access to the backup plugin that I installed locally before the upload.

I did read the manual. One the other hand this is my first WordPress project (my original training was in ColdFusion).
