So I don’t see a tremendous difference from your blog and the standard Slimmy theme, except your main content area is the same color as the container around it and you don’t have a menu, as it looks like it’s just a blog and there are no other pages.
If you’d like, shoot me an e-mail and I can send you some screenshots of some changes I made. I think a few small tweaks could really make your site ‘pop’ a bit more.
