Incomplete posts and pages

I have always used WP Clone successfully so I was disappointed to find that last time I used it, I ended up with incomplete pages and posts. Only the first few lines of text have been copied over, the rest is missing. This is across the whole site and despite the fact that I excluded the uploads directory because its large size was causing a timeout error.
Luckily I still have the original content – if I had used the plugin to backup the site, upon restoring I would have lost most of my website’s content for good. This alone would be enough for a one star review, but I will await the developers’ response before I do that.
