Had you recently added any kind of plugin or made any changes related to the handling of your content? It is almost certainly still in your database or your Dashboard could not show it, but something has apparently obscured it.
Thanks for a quick reply! I hadn’t added anything I was aware of, or made any changes. It’s like you say, like something has just hidden everything from sight. Is there somewhere you could suggest I look?
I have never faced your kind of problem myself, so I would have to begin poking around if I were. What happens at your Dashboard if you attempt to edit a page and/or click “View Page” from within the editor?
Overall, my wild guess here is that something might have happened to your .htaccess file for Permalinks, and I believe you can safely delete .htaccess (via FTP or cPanel) and then re-save your Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks to see what result you might get.
OK, I’m not sure I’m working on a version that lets me do what you first suggest – I can’t see any pages to attempt to edit them.
Could it be that it appears that I have no widgets activated? Or is this irrelevant?
After looking at some other things related to your hosting, I am beginning to suspect there might be some maintenance or some kind of service interruption going on at your server. So, maybe try contacting your host and asking about that before making any kind of changes anyway.
