Subdomain usage

Hi guys,

I have created a working subdomain, blog.icetips.com. Works fine. However, all links use icetips.com/blog_wp which is the folder where WP is installed. Example last post points to http://www.icetips.com/blog_wp/2015/06/05/icetips-is-back-up/ instead of http://blog.icetips.com/2015/06/05/icetips-is-back-up/

I found a plugin, automatic-subdomains, but it caused the entire blog to go belly up with errors about too many redirections, so that didn’t work. In the forum software I use (simple machines forum) I just enter the URL I want to use and it automatically uses it for all links, so I know this can be made simple:)

Ideas?
