Looking for Photo Gallery Plugin with Folder Options

    I hope this is the right place to ask this. I need a photo gallery plugin that can use a directory with sub-directories that is not in the same directory as my WP installation. It’s on the same server, though:

    /home/Media
    /home/Media/Documents
    /home/Media/Photos/Subject1
    /home/WP Installation

    I’ve tried several plugins, including Responsive Photo Gallery and NextGEN Gallery. Doing a search, I find there are dozens more available.

    I’ve set the Media directory in WP to the one I want, but so far the gallery plugins don’t seem to use that setting, or have a way to enable it. Though I’ve used another plugin to import my Media/Photos directory into the WP media database, the plugins are recognising that, either.

    I hopt this makes sense. Can anyone suggest a gallery plugin that will work the way I want it to? Or direct me to the proper place to ask this question? Thanks.
