• Hi there.

I am having some trouble making adjustments to my website. As I stated in the subject of this post, I am having a different experience viewing our company website from a desktop than I am from a mobile device. The problem is not found so much on the home page, but more so on other pages, such as “About Us” and, really, every other page. You can see that widgets maintain their place, but much of the main content is shifted down when viewing on a computer. The view is excellent when viewing from a mobile device (so far, I have tried it on an iPhone 4s and iPad). Any idea if it is a problem that I am experiencing with a plugin, or if I simply need to adjust the width of my page detail.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!!

  • Though there are other ways to do it, the most common “cause” of differences in appearance between Mobile and Desktop views is the Theme. In your case, it appears that you have a custom Theme for your site, as the theme folder is the initials of your company.

This difference is views is called “Responsive”, and is generally considered a good thing, not a bad thing.
