Well you’ll probably just have to add that link into your header or wherever you want it.

    <a href="http://joeknockz.com/music.html">My Music</a>

Open header.php and add that link to the necessary location.

Ive still be trying to figure this out ever since I originally posted. I tried what you said themesbycal but when I alter any of the PHP files such as header or sidebar I get no change in my appearance so I guess I need help identifying the “necessary location” to alter that would give me an effective change.

    What theme are you using?

Don’t do what I seem to do too consistently. I will change the PHP and then look at my site on line and see no changes because I forget to upload the changed file!

Unfortunately, I have done that more than I like to say.

Also, the files you should alter are under wp-content, themes and the theme you are using. At least that is where I make most changes.

is there a way that i could transform a tab (i’m not sure that is how it’s called) in the menu bar at the top of the site into a button that will send the user to an outside website page? i am trying to figure it out but i don’t seem to be able too.

    thanks for your help

Take a look here and see if this might work for you.

…Might want to read the whole thread to put it into context.
