Migrated WordPress Site Thinks It's New??

    I copied the web files and db from another hosting plan. Then I assigned the mysql user to the database.

    When I go to the website, it takes me to the Installation page that asks which language I want the site to be in.

    Suggestions?

    Seems that this would occur when you have created a new DB, did configure wp-config.php to point to it properly, but the needed import was not done or done right.

    Can you confirm that your import of the Database executed fully? Can you see all the tables and content, etc.?

    I apologize. I did indeed forget to import the records. ROOKIE mistake.
