Go to settings/permalinks and click ‘save’.
If that doesn’t work please post here what permalink setting you have

Not the URL, the permalink settings that you have chosen in settings/permalinks (it’s a WordPRess option) cheers
E.g.
Post name http://localhost:8888/domain/sample-post/

same problem here, my setting is “post name” http://www.archaeowalks.com/sample-post/
Thanks
Notch-1 you have a slightly different problem. You have possibly changed your permalink setting after having saved the cookie plugin / created the cookie policy page. The URL you are linking to follows a different permalink structure.
Both of you- please do the following:
1. Make sure you have saved the page
2. Test the URL by accessing it in a separate browser window. If you get a 404 error at this point then this has nothing to do with the plugin
3. Go to settings/permalinks and click ‘save’ (do not skip this step!)
The problem should now be resolved.
Still 404…
I’ve tried creating a new (regular) page and putting the link in the field linkURL in the section [cookie_link] of the settings, and it works fine.
Same thing with the url of the page created in the Cookie Law Info section doesn’t work. It’s seems that that one page is the problem…
Thanks
Your cookie bar is linking to http://www.archaeowalks.com/?p=1446
However your permalink structure is different- it is based on the post name, and should be: http://www.archaeowalks.com/informativa/ – this works.
So it seems you need to update the URL in the plugin settings. This may have been caused by you changing permalink structure after saving the cookie law info settings.
However- it works, I don’t see an issue on your website any more.
Yes, but http://www.archaeowalks.com/?p=1446 works as well. I just used the p= notation to prevent broken links if the name of the page changes…
I never changed the permalink settings. I just used the id of the page instead of the slug in that one link.
Anyway, this is a regular page i created as a workaround for this problem, I would like to use the page created by the plugin instead…
The plugin doesn’t create a page for you, you do that manually?
