    Hi, I’m thinking about installing this plugin on another website but a few days ago I couldn’t find the plugin on the wordpress plugin directory. Then I noticed that the number of downloads for this plugin has sky rocketed over the last couple of days, with thousands of downloads…

    I’m worried that there’s something strange happening here and wondered if somebody could shed some light before I start installing the plugin on more websites? Why did the plugin disappear and what has caused such a huge spike in downloads? Has the plugin been compromised?

    simonswords, the plugin was down temporarily while we addressed a minor security issue. The spike in downloads was due to the number of folks upgrading to the newer version after we put it back up. Hope that helps!
