The problem is that the everytime i try to update a plugin the entire site crashes
– which plugin?
– where did you download it from?
– are you using manual updating or auto updating?
– what version of WordPress you are using?
– Are all other plugins and themes already installed on site up-to-date?
– what theme are you using?
– Have you lately checked your server’s error logs for any clue as to why this is happening?

It’s any plugin that i try to activate, delete or even upload!
The latest plugin that i tried to delete was “hello dolly” and i upload everything by FTP (filezilla), im using the latest version of wordpress. Yes all the plugins and themes are up to date.
I’m using retailer shop, it’s a paid theme!
Where do i find the error logs?

Also on the others sites that are located on this VPN, it’s appering this error everything i try to update or change anything on the site directory that im working on
“Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock’ (111)”

– I recommend you contact your theme’s developers. You’ll be more likely to find a good answer from them, for they have the access to its code. Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product. These forums are for free themes available in the WordPress theme directory at wordpress.org/themes/. Where do i find the error logs?
Server errors logs are found in the server. They may give you better idea why the issue is occurring. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.

The problem isn’t with the theme or the plugins.. I guess it’s the database (mysql) that has a problem since i can’t use the repair option from wordpress (already added the line to wp-config).
