widget questions

    I am using the following the editable WordPress theme nebula-10

    http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/3-columns/3569/nebula-10/

    and have been trying to install the widget APOD Widget at http://www.digitalmeandering.com/?p=6

    However when click on the sidebar widgets in the theme section of the dashboard I get the following error message.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_deregister_script() in /home/theimagi/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/widgets/widgets.php on line 204

    Does this error relate to the widget or the theme I have selected and can someone please help me correct it
