Hello
yesterday I was with the same problem, and now, after updating i have 2 error messages:Warning: file_get_contents(https://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/api/user/medier/albumid/xxxxxxxxxxx?kind=photo&thumbsize=150c&imgmax=640u) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found in /var/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/embpicasa/embpicasa.php on line 232
and
String could not be parsed as XML
(wp is also updated to 4.2.2)
public album is OK, but unlisted album displayed (nerabotajet) “String could not be parsed as XML”
i think use it Client ID for web application, not login with email address and password (https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OAuth2UserAgent)
It seems that only public albums are accessible via atom feeds.
There is no need in authentication at all
you can view any albums with urls like this:
https://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/api/user/marchenko.alexandr?kind=album
where “marchenko.alexandr” should be replaced with your login
and to get album photos you can use urls like this:
Released 1.2.1 with fix for non gmail accounts, so now should work for logins not like marchenko.alexandr@gmail.com but for any domain.
yes! now is working
for unlisted will not ever?
i need using unlisted album for my page over (your) plugin
Hi Alexandr,
I’ve updated the plugin, deleted it and installed it again but I’m still getting “String could not be parsed as XML”. It is really frustrating :(.
I’m using the Embed Picasa Album in the editor but it’s only giving me 1 album: ProfilePictures. It just doesn’t see the other 20 albums that I have.
How can I get this plugin to work now? Hope you can help!
Thanks,
MichielHi Michiel
Currently only published albums are working, try publish thous you need and see does it starts work
Hope that helps at least to make things working
Hi Alexandr,
Thanks for your fast response! It worked, albums are back online 🙂

Michiel
