    hello everyone,

my website ” hotussales.com is running very very slow, it is making me mad, although i chose the ultimate plan which is supposed to be strong and reliable BUT in reality it is not !
the server’s respond time is more than 10 seconds ! can you imagine that !!! my website is just a normal site it doesn’t contain heavy media such as videos and stuff ! i have only articles ! also this problem has been accured since i’ve bought this plan. I contacted godaddy through phone but they didn’t give me any help, they just explained that my I/O is full -_- and i don’t believe that !
any help will be appreciated , thanks in advance.

Have youve gone through the steps mentioned in https://wordpress.org/support/topic/read-this-first-–-wordpress-42-master-list
    ?

W3TC is set to output quite a lot of unecessary lines since DEBUG is set to on but it doesnt actually cache any page so theres a good start.

Ok then I dont know how to help you my friend other than mayby switching to another host? This supportforum is not a place for hosting reviews there are plenty of those around already. Search for one, follow their suggestions for a new host and post a review of godaddy there.

thanks for your help, the funny thing is that i have another website hosted with godaddy and it has the economy plan which is less powerful than the ultimate plan that i’m using with the website i mentioned in my post, but it is running faster

First byte (first response) time is very bad, it is mainly a server side issue, if you are using a shared server and one or more sites on that server is utilizing a lot of resources then it will deteriorate the performance of all websites.

Better move away from the host you are currently using. Based on your needs I can suggest you a hosting environment that delivers optimum performance. Let’s talk in PM.

    Let’s not.

@ahsanparwez Please do not use these forums to attempt to contact people outside of the forums. That is something that is actively discouraged in these forums.

Also, with regards to the hosting recommendation, the WordPress team has provided a list of a few recommended hosting providers.

For more details and other recommendations, please search through the forums or via Google (or your preferred search engine).

If this thread starts to get into hosting recommendations, we’ll have to close it, as such threads quickly devolve into spam territory very quickly.

For the record though, AhsanParwez is correct. Your time to first byte is 2.355s, that’s the time it takes the server to say “Hi there, I’m a server.” It should definitely be under 1 second.

    See this for details: http://www.webpagetest.org/result/150602_T6_HHJ/

Also, see http://gtmetrix.com/reports/hotussales.com/63f4cm6H for additional recommendations.

Hosting providers listed on https://wordpress.org/hosting/ should be re-evaluated, all three of them have known performance issues that they just wouldn’t solve.

@jan Sorry, didn’t know the rules, wouldn’t happen again.

There are instructions on who to contact for that on the page under “Host Feedback”.
