FTP upload

    Hi … I’m running a Mac OS X 10.4.10 and I’m new to WP

    I’ve signed up with Libsyn.org as my host provider and the FTP server won’t allow me to upload the files. It says “The item WordPress cannot be moved because the item quickcast cannot be modified.”

    Any thoughts.

    Don’t know what that ‘quickcast’ item is..maybe try one of these FTP_Clients.

    Fetch accepted the files. But what seems to have happened is that because I’d signed up with Libsyn’s basic service there isn’t any control panel that I can find through which you download those files. So now I’m back on the WP site looking at the suggested providers who seem to be providing a lot more explanation. N

    Sorry but can anyone advise me one FTP opensource that works for mac?
    FileZilla says: Mac OS X – Currently delayed, build server is offline.

    @nicholas123 – your host’s control panel might provide a File Manager for you to use, but don’t confuse that with the FTP client.

    @moisascout – did you get a chance to look at FTP_Clients? Looks like Cyberduck might be for you.
