    We did indeed make some changes to Publicize a few days ago.

    For Facebook posts, we now send the custom message (along with the URL) without the excerpt, if a custom message is set. If a custom message is not set, we send an excerpt of the post.

    If you would like the excerpt not to appear, you’ll consequently need to set a custom message in the Publicize box appearing right above the Publish button in the post editor.

    We may add an option to turn this new format off at some point; you can follow our progress on this here:
