• After upgrading wordpress to 4.2.2. and updating the plugins, all of the admin pages are blank.

I do not have access to the ftp server. All I have is wp-admin login.

Anything I can do to fix this?

Can’t disable plugins b/c I have no server access and the Plugin admin page is blank like all the rest.

  • How did you install WordPress if you have no server access other than wp-admin? What about a cPanel or some other panel with a file manager? Via file manager you could temporarily disable all plugins by renamimg the /wp-content/plugins folder to some other name

The person who designed the website installed it. They have since disappeared and are not responding to any form of contact.

    I have zero server access.

Have you tried contacting the server company? If they cannot help, who is paying the bill to the server company?

Of course. They won’t do anything because the server account does not belong to me; it belongs to the guy who disappeared. Domain name and server access are thus held hostage.

You might be able to reclaim domain if you can verify your rights to it through the official domain registry … I don’t remember the exact entity or url … You might be able to google or yahoo it … or ask server company for assistance to reclaim domain … they might be registry intermediary for the domain…

    I know, it’s a sticky wicket, I’ve been there before Good Luck…
