I have tested this plugin for post creation at multiple dummy sites running on WordPress 4.2.2. Sometimes it works or sometimes it won’t.
Specially there is problem in post creation.

I have just uploaded version 1.7.5. During development I did quite a bit of testing of import/export and wasn’t able to find any problems like you’re reporting.
However, I did find and fix a few small bugs (including one related to post publishing), so please try one more time. If it still fails, then you’re welcome to contact me via my contact page. I’ll need you to send me the CSV file that you’re trying to import and details of which post ids fail to update consistently.

Actually there were some hidden white space appearing in csv file exposed after the recent update in this great plugin.
