Importer problem with Special Characters

    Hello,

    Hoping you can help with my importer, I noticed today some odd characters on the imported properties. Looking at the original site the   character gets converted oddly.
    In the JSON Feed it becomes ‘\u00a0’
    And on the XML Feed it becomes ‘Â ‘
    I would like it to simply import as an   character. Is there a pre or post processing mechanism I can implement to properly encode these?

    Hello.

    Thank you for pointing. We already know about this issue. Unfortunately at the moment this can’t be fixed. Try to escape special characters from your feed.

    Thanks Maria,

    That’s too bad, I luckily have access to the source site so was able to simply fix/remove all the special characters there before I get to the import.
