• Hi David,

Thanks for the app – normally it works brilliantly.

I did some updates yesterday as I was having error messages between Caldera and the cache app (W3) that I was using and things just aren’t working today. I’ve disabled the W3 (and other plugins).

    1. I have a drop-down select option and most of the options allow the form to be submitted ok, but if you select the final option (Other / I haven’t decided), the error says it’s a required element. I’m not sure why this element isn’t accepted as an option whilst all the others are.

    2. We are not receiving the email notification if a form is submitted. The autoresponder works, but as of yesterday, we are not receiving the notification.

Any help would be much appreciated as it’s a very important part of our site and we can’t lose applications.
    Thanks.

1: are your options in the dropdown set to “show values”

2: make sure you are not using the senders email for the “from email”. rather use your email or a no-reply@ email. and use the senders email in the “reply-to”.

    Hi David,

    1. Should they be set to “show values” or to not “show values”? They weren’t showing before and it worked. The odd thing is that for each dropdown the first 2-3 options work but the final one doesn’t. I can’t see why they would be different – is there any content rules that could cause an issue? (NB. They have all been working up until recently).

    2. Thanks, I’ve changed some settings and it seems to be fine. I don’t fully understand why it broke as I hadn’t changed anything previously but it seems to be working now 🙂

1: should be either. but if its set to show values and the value is empty on one, it will think its not filled in.

2: sometimes if the form is set to come from the person filling in the form, servers will block the mail as fake since the sending server (your server) is sending a mail for another server ( the email in the from field )
