Post-lists: limit title to 2 lines

Hi!

Is there any way to limit the title displayed in the post-lists (e.g. in a blog page) to two lines?

I know I can set the title length to X words in the Appearance options of the theme. But, when setting the title length to an specific number of words, the title may take different number of lines leading to messy layout of posts.

I would also like not to show tags.
