• Hi,
I am having a huge problem with how my images are displayed from my blog to the website.
When I write a post from my WP app from my iphone I almost always include a photo from my iPhone in the post, what happens is after I publish it and go to my website the image in the post is HUGE and looks terrible. When Preview it it looks fine but not on website itself.
I went into changing the allowed image size, but honestly I have no idea what size it should be.
Please help!! My site is http://www.fishthepelican.com
I should add this is in Fishing Reports

It looks like you’re inserting full-sized images into your posts. Are you selecting a smaller image size before hitting “Insert Into Post?”

Should be the last option when adding the image if you scroll down.

Chad, on the wp mobile version from my iphone, I am not given that option.

That’s odd. I run on Android and our app lets us choose sizes just as we would on a desktop. Have you tried logging into your site from your phone’s browser and uploading from there rather than using the app?

I went into the “view admin” from the app and edited the photo from there, it worked! Im guessing thats going to be the only way to get it right which sort of defeats the purpose of having the app to do quick reports. I will have to do this everytime, not a big deal…but…whats the point in having the app now id I’ve got to go into the web dashboard anyways…right??

If your main use of the app is quick photo uploads, then yeah that kind of defeats it’s purpose.

Based on this thread, it looks like this is something they’ve been working on improving for about a year. I just wish I had an iPhone handy so I could have tested other solutions for you.
