ok I think ive figured out wot causes this. allowing PAGE comments makes the page show up fine. but as soon as I uncheck the option to allow comments on the PAGE the page shrinks. im gonna check if its the same issue with pages without the timeline.

hmm. pages without the timeline show up normal even when page commenting is disabled. so the issue got to do with the timeline. gonna play around with settings to try get this sorted

another thing…. it displays fine when I allow page comments. but as soon as I log out…. it shrinks to the side of the page again. got the same results using ie, firefox and chrome. the site is on localhost. so I cant even check on another network….. ( theres strict firewalls here at work)

ok wait…… I just tried the plugin on another website that’s online. it works perfect whether I allow or disable comments, and when im on or logged out. so…. im thinking its coz im working on localhost..
Hello,
It’s possible but at the same time I developed the plugin on localhost and didn’t run into the issue you describe. I would try temporarily switching themes to check if it may be a theme conflict.

…..im back on this project now. yes. something doesn’t quite work right when the site is on localhost. I just added the timeline along with the same theme on a site that’s live and everythings working perfect. im gonna have to work on the site online so I see progress.
im not sure if this can be marked as resolved?
Without any way of replicating the issue on my end there is no way I can figure out what’s going on. Seeing as your install is setup on localhost I can’t access the site for testing, or even view the front end code.
It doesn’t seem like you’ve carried out any of the debugging steps that I have mentioned above. You may want to give that a try. I would almost guarantee it’s your theme, as this issue has never come up before.
Thanks,
Evan
