So I recently updated both WordPress to 4.2.2 and all the plugins/themes.
Right after doing this, I’m now getting a fatal error on both the website and the /wp-admin

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_json_encode() in /home/website/public_html/wp-includes/class.wp-scripts.php on line 207

Any ideas what might be causing this?

    No bumping please.

Using ftp or the file manager your host provides, change the name of the plugins folder to plugins-old.

Didn’t fix the problem unfortunately 🙁

Delete the wp-includes and wp-admin folders. DO NOT touch the wp-content folder. Download a fresh copy of WordPress, extract the folders and upload a new wp-includes and wp-admin to your site.

    That fixed it! Thanks 🙂
