Adding thumbnail navigation below carousel

Hi Phil,

Is there a possibility of adding thumbnails to your carousel plugin, similar to this demo on bootply :: http://www.bootply.com/79859.

Unlike the demo, the thumbnails should be below the carousel which would list out all the post thumbnails in a grid layout being able to navigate to display its larger image on the carousel when clicked.

Will greatly appreciate any sort of help on this, if it is possible to do so!!!
